Punkie's Trip to Sweden 2001

Random end pictures.

JonEric's neighbors Villja and Ruth invited us to play Bocce Ball. I used own a set, did you know that? My mother got it in Italy. I should get another one. It may be "an old man's game," but it is still fun.

My Banzai jacket went through a lot. Rain, wind, mud, cold, hot, and strong sun. It was sat on, slept on, used as a pillow, a blanket, and something to wipe my mouth or brow on. I love Polartec!

The house in front of JonEric's property was for sale. SEK 250,000 which was about $25,000 USD at the time this was written. I could have bought it! Rats.

I took pictures of the museum Sven works at, but most of that roll didn't come out. This picture did, and I am sort of glad. See, Sven told me this was the ONLY haunted place in his museum, and that this picture frame moves on its own sometimes. I took a picture, hoping to catch a ghost, but none appeared. Even on the film. Aw, nuts.

Southern Greenland from the trip back. Those little white clumps in the foreground are actually gigantic icebergs floating away from the glacier.

Epilouge

All in all, I had a great time in Sweden. I want to go back. I want to go back now. I think the next time we go, however, we're going to get a car in Stockholm, and drive North, stopping at all the little places. Or maybe take a train. Who knows. But Sweden is one glorious, grand, and friendly poalce I recommend to everyone. Except rude people. Those people should stay home.
